Users
Users groups calls by the person who made them. Unlike a session, this needs nothing sent with the call to work: every call is already attributed to whoever authenticated it, as described on the Metadata page: your account email, the agent, or the API key, in that order.
Reading the Users view
The list shows one row per person: when they were first and last active, and their total events, tokens, and cost for the selected period. Selecting a row opens that person's own record: their traces, their sessions, and any scores, the same detail available elsewhere, narrowed to one person.
When to use it
- Finding who is generating the most cost, without adding it up by hand.
- Looking into a specific person's reported issue, by finding their activity directly rather than searching by approximate time.
- Confirming who is actually using the gateway, not only who has access to it.
